When applied topically, CBD has been found to reduce inflammation and is therefore great for people who suffer from skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema. It also reduces the pain that accompanies skin conditions like the ones named above, therefore giving your skin time to heal as you don't have the urge to keep scratching and aggravating it.
For people who have scars that they would like to improve, there is hope in CBD topicals. It has been found that lotions and ointments containing CBD help reduce the formation of scar tissue, thereby leading to less noticeable scars after a period of regular application. To make sure you're using the right product and in the right dosage, do thorough research and speak to an expert.
Because CBD helps to balance your skin's ECS, you experience better skin hydration and don't have to battle excess oil. With no oily patches, your skin has the chance to develop a more even complexion throughout.
CBD topicals have been found to improve the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines as they help keep the skin hydrated. They also help reduce damage from free radicals and inflammation while improving the appearance of dark spots. With CBD accounting for around 40% of a cannabis plant, it's possible to harvest enough of it to make quality CBD topicals and other products.
Make sure to research the source and ingredients of any CBD product you use. Using products that contain pure and well-harvested CBD will see to it that you enjoy the full benefits of this extract. Before you decide to use a particular CBD product, make sure to seek expert advice so you get the best and use it as you should for the best results.
]]>CBD is the new buzzword in health and wellness circles. Many people are trying CBD, and based on a survey by Brightfield and HelloMD, about 80% of respondents said the CBD products they tried were "very or extremely effective." While on the subject of effective CBD products, two popular options that are often used by people are CBD oil and CBD tincture. If you have ever wondered about the differences between these two options, keep reading, and we will clue you in.
In most instances, CBD oil is a combination of CBD extract and carrier oil, such as coconut oil. The CBD extract can be full-extract, meaning it also contains other cannabinoids besides CBD as well as compounds, such as terpenes. This is why some people report CBD oil as having an unpleasant and oily taste.
Unlike CBD oil which has an oil base, CBD tincture has an alcohol base. Typically, the CBD extract is dissolved in high-proof alcohol. Alcohol has a very bitter taste, so it's common for tinctures to contain many additives, such as sweeteners, flavorings, and vegetable glycerin.
In summary, you can use the following factors to decide whether to use CBD oil or CBD tincture:
When it comes to CBD oil vs CBD tincture, the bottom line is that both these products contain CBD, and consuming them comes with many potential benefits. Now that you know the differences between the two, it's easier to figure out which option is best for you.
]]>Cannabinoids are chemical compounds that occur naturally in the cannabis plant. The fascinating thing is the body also produces its own cannabinoids, called endocannabinoids. These endocannabinoids are responsible for the function of homeostasis, which is the regulation of a stable internal environment.
Since the body has its own endocannabinoid receptors found throughout the body and the brain, the cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant can interact with these endocannabinoids, enhancing the function of the body's endocannabinoid system. This results in an improved immune system. Consumption of cannabinoids has also been associated with other positive effects, such as improved sleep and mood, pain relief, and reduced inflammation.
THC and CBD are two of the most popular cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. However, they couldn't be more different. CBD is cannabidiol, and it has been linked to several health benefits. But THC, also known as Tetrahydrocannabinol, is the psychoactive component that creates an intoxicating effect. As such, you'll find that most CBD products contain zero or very low levels of THC.
Besides THC and CBD, other common types of cannabinoids include:
Today you'll find many products containing the popular cannabinoid CBD. The products range from CBD oil and CBD cream to CBD gummies and CBD vape pens. In any case, if the product is labeled contains full-spectrum hemp extract, it also contains other cannabinoids, such as terpenes.
]]>CBD candies are an easy way to get your daily dose of CBD. Simply pop one into your mouth and enjoy. There is no need to carefully measure drops of oil then enduring the bitter taste in your mouth as it gets absorbed into your system. These candies are also discreet, and you can easily carry what you need in your purse, bag, or pocket. As long as you take care not to leave them in direct sunlight or place them in excess heat, you will have your sweets with you wherever you go.
The best part of candy for most people is that it satisfies sweet tooth cravings whenever they strike. If the cravings are accompanied by an anxiety attack or other stressful situation, CBD candies help you kill two birds with one stone. Since they come in a variety of flavors, shapes, sizes, colors, and most importantly, portions, it is easy to get exactly what you need.
Whether you are stuck in traffic or you are trying to get sleep on a business trip, CBD candies offer a convenient method of consuming CBD. They are not a powder or liquid that needs to be carefully carried, and no one will even know that you are taking CBD. Simply choose your favorite flavor and serving size, and that is all the preparation that you need to do.
With about $124 million of medical CBD purchased in 2017, there are no signs of the CBD wave slowing down. It's still easy to get judged for using CBD by people who don't know everything about its medicinal properties, and for this, you may need discretion. CBD gummies give you discretion and satisfies sweet tooth cravings all in one.
]]>Pain can make you less productive, miserable, and feeling like you are living on the sidelines, not getting the best out of your life. Different methods of pain management have come and gone, with pain medication being the most used one. Recently, CBD has been used and has gotten some positive reviews of effective pain management. Read on to see how CBD can help with your arthritis.
CBD is short for cannabidiol, an active compound extracted from the cannabis and hemp plants. It may cause some drowsiness but is not intoxicating, as the extract from cannabis that causes intoxication is THC which is usually left out when extracting CBD. Currently, CBD has FDA approval for the management of rare, severe forms of epilepsy and so it is no longer considered a Schedule 1 drug.
Cannabinoids like CBD interact with a human being's endocannabinoid system, leading to a number of reactions. They help to modulate the body's natural inflammatory response in two ways:
These two methods make CBD highly effective as a form of non-synthetic pain management.
There are three main ways you can use CBD, depending on the formulation, and they include:
As many as 29% of respondents surveyed in 2017 said that their favorite aspect of using CBD for pain management and more was the medical relief that they received. This shows that there is increasing use of medical CBD as an option for managing different conditions. As long as you get help with dosing from a medical professional, it is hard to go wrong with CBD, so always discuss your usage with a doctor or qualified pharmacist.
]]>CBD edibles are no doubt a favorite and popular way to consume CBD or Cannabidiol. This is a natural compound typically extracted from hemp plants and is associated with several health benefits.
]]>CBD edibles are no doubt a favorite and popular way to consume CBD or Cannabidiol. This is a natural compound typically extracted from hemp plants and is associated with several health benefits.
It's especially popular among athletes, who use it to help with recovery, pain management, and building lean muscles. According to a survey conducted by Brightfield Group and HelloMD, 80% of respondents experienced benefits from taking CBD.
This is great news, and if you're new to CBD or just looking for more exciting ways to consume CBD, keep reading to find out more about three unique CBD products that are edible.
CBD hard candies aren't really hard to explain. We are all familiar with gummies and lollipops, but, in this case, they will have been infused with CBD. CBD hard candies come in a wide variety of flavors, textures, and colors, and they're a delicious way to get your daily dose of CBD. What makes CBD hard candies unique is they look and taste just like regular candy.
For instance, CBD gummies can't be distinguished from regular gummies, apart from the packaging. Most even contain ingredients made from natural fruits and vegetables to keep things healthy. Another plus of consuming CBD hard candies is that you can take them discreetly if you don't want anyone else to know you're taking CBD.
CBD tinctures are another convenient and easy way to consume CBD. They typically come in small containers that you can carry around with you during workouts. Like most herbal tinctures, CBD tinctures are made by extracting CBD using a mixture of alcohol and water. The tincture is then placed under the tongue, where it's easily absorbed into the blood via the thin membrane.
Generally, depending on the concentration of the tincture, each drop will have an assigned dose, and you can vary this dosage by changing the number of drops you place under the tongue.
CBD capsules and pills are great for anyone looking for a quick and tasteless way to consume CBD. When you take these, the CBD is absorbed into the blood via the digestive system a few moments after you swallow. Some CBD capsules and pills also contain other helpful ingredients that can benefit athletes, for instance, vitamins and minerals.
CBD edibles come in all shapes and sizes, but these three can provide a unique CBD experience whether you're a new or seasoned user.
]]>Athletes have to train rigorously to achieve great feats of endurance during performances. While having incredible stamina brings its own reward, it can put the body under a lot of stress. For instance, muscles often wear and tear when an athlete engages in prolonged periods of training.
It's not uncommon for athletes to injure themselves, in which case they will need ways to manage their pain and improve recovery. Most athletes turn to over-the-counter medication for this, but most pain relievers and opioids are associated with several negative side effects.
The excellent news is, CBD products, such as CBD oil drops, are a promising alternative that many athletes can explore when looking to manage pain and inflammation. As a matter of fact, experts predicted that CBD sales would amount to over $1 billion in 2020 in the United States. With that in mind, here's why CBD has become so popular with athletes.
As mentioned earlier, athletes go through vigorous and intense training to achieve their fitness goals and are the best. As muscles wear and tear, the pain from inflammation can start to interfere with the athlete's goals. To help with this, most athletes take CBD, which is a natural compound extracted from hemp plants. It helps with pain relief and has anti-inflammatory properties. This is beneficial because pain relief and management are crucial to faster recovery and better performance.
Intense training sessions are necessary for athletes to achieve their goals, but the soreness and stiffness afterward may require periods of long periods of rest. However, this can be bad when an athlete needs to keep working out to maintain fitness levels. Fortunately, CBD has natural anti-inflammatory properties that help with rapid recovery. You can benefit from this effect, whether you're taking CBD oil drops or some other CBD edibles.
Athletes are known to use anabolic supplements when trying to build lean muscle. This is often in conjunction with intense training, which strengthens and builds your muscles in the long run. However, most anabolic supplements will boost lean muscle mass as long as you're working, but this effect can diminish on rest days. CBD provides a great alternative to anabolic supplements since it helps you build muscles that stick around.
As you can see, there are many benefits to CBD, including how convenient it is to take. For instance, most athletes prefer placing a few CBD oil drops under the tongue when needed.
]]>As every athlete knows, your post workout routine is nearly as important as your actual workout. From stretching to hydration, the process of getting out of the zone is what allows you to get back into it. You probably stretch and have a protein-filled recovery meal that includes an electrolyte-replacing drink, but if you aren't ingesting CBD, then you are missing some incredible post workout benefits.
After an intense workout or a new way to work the same muscles, they are sore. That soreness can lead to stiffness. This is because your muscles have micro-tears from the workout that cause inflammation. CBD is able to help reduce this soreness because it has natural anti-inflammatory properties. This helps your muscles heal faster and allows you to get back to working out faster. Rapid recovery is just one of the post workout benefits CBD provides.
While your muscles look slightly bigger after a workout, CBD can help you make sure that you're building muscles that will last. CBD is a great alternative to anabolic supplements so that you can build muscles quickly and keep them around. While most anabolic supplements have a side effect of decreasing your muscle mass on your rest day, CBD has none of those side effects. There are many other post workout benefits to CBD aside from helping build lean muscle.
Intense training can lead to significant levels of pain as you strive to reach your goals. While pain is a part of every training plan, so is pain reduction. CBD is a great, natural pain reliever. It acts by stopping the pain transmission in the brain as well as its anti-inflammatory properties. Being able to reduce and manage pain allows you to recover faster and train better.
These are just a few of the post workout benefits of CBD. These benefits have been found by 80% of respondents to a Brightfield Group and HelloMD survey who found CBD to be "very or extremely effective". Aside from rapid recovery, reduced pain, and building lean muscle, CBD can also help with sleep and decrease muscle tension. Post workout CBD is an excellent addition to your recovery plan.
]]>What is CBD? CBD is short for cannabidiol. It is a main component of marijuana, although it does not result in a 'high' nor does it have psychoactive effects like marijuana's more controversial component, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBD is legal in all 50 U.S. states, and it packs many of the same health benefits of medical marijuana with fewer negative side effects.
In fact, many are advocating its use for some of the most vulnerable groups, like Americans 65 and up. Here are just a few ways aging Americans can benefit from embracing CBD.
Right now, U.S. patients of all ages rely too heavily on potentially harmful and addictive pain medications, like opioids. There is good news from The Philly Voice. According to the publication, a Temple University study recently revealed that CBD oils and capsules are more effective at pain management than opioids and relieve pain without the harmful side effects, like dependence or addiction.
Sleep is important for people of all ages. It is particularly important for seniors who need their neurological functions and immune systems running at full capacity.
Again, CBD plays a large role in pain management. Successfully managing pain helps seniors get more sleep. CBD can also help reduce anxiety, depression, and insomnia -- other barriers that may prevent seniors from getting truly restorative sleep.
Restful sleep eases symptoms of depression, boosts the immune system, and promotes healthy brain function.
In addition to pain management and promoting restful sleep, CBD also has the potential to help strengthen seniors' bones. Without treatment, bone density naturally decreases as we age. Studies show that regular CBD treatment can help reverse these effects and make bones stronger. While its exact mechanism for accomplishing this needs more study, preliminary research shows that CBD stimulates collagen production, promotes stability, and may even be a helpful tool to help heal bone fractures.
As of 2017, nearly one-third or 29% responded to a survey saying their favorite use for CBD oils and products was their healing ability. A growing number of consumers are exploring the medical and pain relief benefits associated with CBD. Emerging research suggests that the product can be especially beneficial to aging Americans. Seniors can turn to CBD for relief from chronic pain, insomnia and other common sleep problems, and perhaps even to strengthen their bones as they age.
]]>An interesting study from 2016 reviewed dozens of other studies on the effects of meditation on the immune system and found some very interesting results.
This study found several parameters of our immune system that can be helped with meditation but made special mention of a few results that were replicated in several separate studies. In other words, you can find one study to support just about any scientific theory you can dream up, but when a study gets replicated (repeated) several times by other scientists and they all get the same results, then those results tend to be very reliable.
Immune system components that seem to be optimized by Mindfulness Meditation are:
As I was reading this article, my next thought was, “Ok, so meditation certainly can help our immune systems, but how many of us are truly successful at meditation in the first place?”
If you’re like me, then you might have tried meditation as a way of relaxing and clearing the mind, but can never quite settle enough to see any reasonable benefit. The moment I try to “open my mind” I start thinking about all the things going on around me like: the mess in the kitchen, the car needs gas, the stack of mail on my desk and the dog just pooped in the living room… and I feel MORE anxious than I did before. I found that I couldn’t relax enough to feel like I was meditating! But, that is the true purpose and benefit of meditation. To be able to stop listening to all the chatter in your head and just focus on one thing: that one thing could be breathing, a mantra word or phrase, or a visualization.
This is where CBD can help.
CBD is a natural compound that can offer a relaxing effect without the “high” of THC. While it won’t magically make you better at meditation, it can go a long way toward becoming proficient at the practice. Many find that adding CBD to their daily wind-down routine helps them notice an improved sense of calm, awareness, and focus. This is beneficial for not only “taking the edge off” your daily stress but for helping you settle into your meditation practice and realize its full benefits.
I actually found that I could improve my meditation by focusing my mind on how the CBD was helping my meditation. I visualized the tiny CBD particles binding to the various receptors in my body which would then send “time to relax!” signals to my brain. I let my brain focus on the CBD binding to the pain receptors in any sore muscles I had. I imagined what it might look like to have the CBD interact with my immune system in a positive way. The first time I did this was a major breakthrough in meditation for me and was when I started to truly feel like I was benefiting.
]]>I’m always on the lookout for new ways to use CBD to help my patients, but this latest method was inspired by a family member in need. This week, my mom celebrated her 76th birthday, but it also marked the end of her radiation therapy for breast cancer. Luckily, her cancer stage and type did not require chemotherapy, just surgery and radiation. Surgery was fine, but as anyone that has undergone radiation therapy knows, it tends to leave painful burns on the skin. For my mom, it was quite agonizing, and that pain was interfering with her all-important sleep. It was also interfering with her desire to continue radiation therapy. She was really struggling.
Someone had given her a sample bottle of a CBD tincture (different brand) to apply topically, but she didn’t think it was helping at all, so she reached out to me to be sure she was using it correctly. I made her a balm by adding some liquid coconut oil to a small jar of OCPharm CBD isolate. Happily, my mom reported that it worked MUCH better! This made a lot of sense because the small jar of isolate would be a much higher concentration of CBD compared with the bigger 30ml jar of tincture.
I was curious if there was medical literature containing any solid studies to support our observations. There are only a few preliminary reports, but the results are encouraging so far. I did come across numerous articles explaining the various cannabinoid receptors in the skin and the role that CBD seems to play in helping a variety of common skin disorders. It’s important to note that CBD is not currently FDA approved for the treatment of burns or other skin problems, but many do report feeling relief from their ailments.
I also discovered some other products out there that are being marketed for radiation burns. One such product only contained 200mg of CBD in a 120ml (4oz) jar. That’s only 1.6mg of CBD per ml. The salve I was making contained 1000mg in 5ml, which is 200mg per ml. No wonder mine seemed to work so much better!
My mom ended up also using the 50mg capsules when we ran out of the isolate. These seemed to work just as well and were quite a bit easier to use. Simply prick a capsule with a pin and then squeeze out the oil directly onto the burn area. The volume of these capsules is approximately 0.35ml, which would give a good concentration of about 140mg CBD per ml.
So glad my mom thought to ask me and was able to find some relief, because she was seriously considering stopping her radiation therapy due to the painful burns.

]]>“The most wonderful stre-essfull time of the year…”
While there is so much that is great and magical about the holiday season, it can also be the super-stressful. There are a lot of powerful stress-relieving methods one can use like taking a yoga class, gardening, therapy sessions, etc. But I want to make mention of some of my favorite quick de-stressors that only take a few minutes and can be done easily just about anywhere.
I call this my Stress Buster Tool Box. Each one of these tools can help just a little bit and are so quick and easy. Use several of these tools together throughout the day, and you can make a significant difference in your stress level.
Of course, this list helps me remember little things I need to get done, but the real power in this exercise is this: it removes the big issues from my “inner conversation” and brings them into reality. When an issue is allowed to “stew” inside your head, it tends to spiral out of control, growing bigger and bigger on its own. Pretty soon, the “our teen stays up too late” becomes “she won’t be able to get a job and will be on welfare the rest of her life”. The mind just starts thinking of the worst-case scenario! There is something about writing it down (or saying it out loud to a friend or just to yourself) that helps bring things back to reality. I find that halfway through writing down these thoughts, I often chuckle and say to myself, “how many times did I stay up late as a teen? Of course she’ll find a career that makes her happy”….
This is one of the most common questions we get at OC Pharm CBD.
The answer really depends on how you are taking it, what you are taking it for, and whether or not you’re on any medications or other remedies. Some people have reported feeling the effects within just a few minutes, while others say it took several weeks or more for it to start working. I’ll explain why that happens later.
The delivery method is probably the biggest factor in how long it takes to work. Some forms will allow CBD to quickly pass into your blood and reach its targets, while others will release CBD much slower, but the effects will last longer. There are 3 main ways that people take CBD: Oral, topical, and inhaled.
Oral:
There are two mains types of oral CBD oil:
- Fast-release forms: tinctures and mouth sprays.
- Slow-release forms: capsules, gummies, candies.
Fast-release forms are applied directly in the mouth. Although you will eventually swallow part of the liquid, you will absorb most of the CBD through the blood vessels under your tongue, along your gums and the inner lining of your mouth. The CBD will bypass your digestive system and be released directly into your bloodstream and the effects will start to kick in after only 15-30 minutes. The peak effect will be about 2-4 hours and will last up to 6 hours.
Slow-release forms: These need to be digested and can take 30-180 minutes for the effect to start. The CBD has to pass from the gut into the liver before being released into your bloodstream. The liver will break down some of the CBD, so less of it will reach the blood. The slow-release forms do have an advantage as their effects tend to last longer, up to 8 hours.
Topical:
Creams, lotions and balms act locally, and the time it takes to penetrate the skin can be variable. Most users report noticing the effects after 30-120 minutes.
Vapes:
Inhalation is the fastest way to get CBD into your system, with effects noticed within 5-15 minutes. This method won’t last as long though, with blood CBD levels starting to decline after about an hour, and effects only lasting 2-3 hours.
Why do some people report taking several weeks for them to start experiencing relief?
When the CBD reaches the target tissues it then needs to interact with the various receptors in those tissues and this is the part that can take either just a few minutes to hours, but It can also take many days to weeks. Your concentration of the various receptors in your different tissues can be quite variable. Many prescription medications will affect the number and availability of those receptors. It’s important to remember that many of the pharmaceuticals that treat these same problems can also take a few weeks to start working. One patient with chronic back pain from a car crash said that after about a week on CBD, she started to feel some relief, but another 2 weeks later the effect was even better. On the other hand, my wife recently injured her ankle (thought it was broken but x-rays eventually normal) and was in a lot of pain. Laid-out on the couch all weekend, she wanted some pain relievers, but I suggested trying CBD first. “My foot is BROKEN! I need REAL pain meds”, was her reply. Of course, doctors are not allowed to prescribe the good stuff to family members, so she tried the CBD. An hour later, she was feeling much better!
Onset of action based on malady:
What you are trying to treat with the CBD can also affect how quickly you notice relief. Anecdotally, I’ve seen fast results in some, and slower results in others. As they do more and more clinical trials, we are getting more useable data to know how fast it can work. Here are summaries of some of the studies available:
Anxiety:
People with acute anxiety episodes caused by stress and social phobia (like public speaking) found relief in 90-180 minutes. Chronic anxiety in people with PTSD and autism needed longer for the symptoms to subside – around 4-8 weeks.
Pain:
In a study of people with chronic pain due to kidney transplant, CBD improved the pain after using it for 1-3 weeks. Studies in patients with migraine headaches and cluster headaches showed that it could take up to 1-3 months for relief. That may sound like a long time, but since CBD has a much better safety profile than the strong pharmaceuticals, I think it’s worth giving it a chance as a long-term solution.
Sleep problems:
Studies in people with insomnia or sleep disturbances due to PTSD found improved sleep quality in 1-2 months.
Bottom line:
You might see results quickly with CBD, but if you don’t, I recommend sticking with it for at least a few weeks. It will be worth it to find a solution to your problems with something that really doesn’t have any significant side-effects or risk of overdose.
CBD products are popping up in more makeup bags across the country. From capsules to edibles, to topicals and tinctures, women are adding CBD to their daily routine to improve overall wellness without worrying about a psychoactive high.
CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid with therapeutic properties that help regulate hormonal imbalances and manage the chronic pains, amongst many other things.
In this article, we will focus on the holistic benefits of CBD and how it can help with issues relating to women’s health such as premenstrual syndrome and menopause.
PMS symptoms affect over 75% of menstruating women and can last up to 10 days. PMS or premenstrual syndrome refers to a group of physical and behavioral symptoms that occur in a cyclic pattern during the second half of the menstrual cycle. CBD can help treat common symptoms of PMS such as:4
CBD, when consumed, triggers the serotonin receptors present in our brain which can help relieve depression, and that’s not the only receptor CBD can trigger. Studies show that when CBD and endocannabinoids produced by the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) bind with the CB receptors, the receptors send transmitters to the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system to begin regulating PMS symptoms.
The answer is yes! The term menopause is commonly used to describe the changes a woman experiences either just before or after she stops menstruating, marking the end of her reproductive period, but just because she is at the end of her reproductive period, doesn’t mean the discomfort stops.
The CBD cannabinoid can supplement the endocannabinoids to help maintain homeostasis in the body and keep the immune, respiratory, and digestive system balanced.
During menopause, when a hormonal imbalance is detected, the body naturally synthesizes endocannabinoids and interacts with the CB receptors to stimulate a response that alleviates symptoms of discomfort shown below.
CBD interferes with the secretion of the cortisol hormone and helps lower blood pressure and reduce stress. CBD can also help with joint and muscle pain by alleviating inflammation and other hormonal imbalances such as the melatonin, and thyroid hormones, which can help regulate body temperature during hot flashes.
Increasing evidence shows that CBD has a powerful effect on fertility and can be a beneficial cannabinoid throughout the pregnancy.
CBD can boost anandamide levels, an essential omega-6 fatty acid that is part of the ECS and prevent it from being broken down to support successful ovulation. The anandamide neurotransmitter is known as the “bliss molecule” and binds to the body’s cannabinoid receptors.
Dr. Michele Ross, a neuroscientist, and CEO of Infused Health tells Civilized that women with high levels of anandamide occur at ovulation and are clinically associated with a successful pregnancy and low levels of anandamide, or endocannabinoid deficiency may interfere with ovulation or the ability to get pregnant.
CBD offers other fertility support like reducing stress and inflammation, enhancing egg quality, and inhibiting the FAAH enzyme, which is responsible for anandamide degradation and keeping our endocannabinoid systems stimulated.
CBD has become increasingly more popular since the U.S. passed the 2018 Hemp Farming Act removing hemp from the list of controlled substances, and beauty companies have quickly caught on to the craze, but is it just a trend?
Beauty products that contain CBD are packed with rich antioxidants and can treat a variety of skin conditions such as dry skin, psoriasis, eczema, and inflammation. Studies show that CBD can help with acne by suppressing breakouts and regulating the production of the sebaceous glands.
In addition to blocking breakouts, the CBD can help regulate cell growth and regenerate hair follicles while treating dry and itchy scalps.
The scalp produces large amounts of an oil called sebum that helps protect the skin and hair. It also controls the microbiota of the scalp where the population of microorganisms, including bacteria and yeast, live naturally on the skin. CBD reduces sebum production and has antifungal properties that can relieve scalp itching and dandruff.
Everyone has an endocannabinoid system whether you use cannabis or not. The ECS involves three core components: endocannabinoids, receptors, and enzymes and interacts with the cannabinoid receptors present in the endocannabinoid system to provide natural relief.
While there is more to research to perform, studies have shown how effective CBD can be when it comes to women’s health. ]]>This is one of the most frequent questions I get about CBD oil. To be honest, the first few times my patients asked me about this, I didn’t have a good answer for them. This was several years ago, and I was somewhat naïve about how many patients were seeing benefits for their particular maladies. Most were simply starting it on their own and pretty-much “winging it” when trying to figure out a proper dose.
Fast-forward to today, and I have many patients (more than I can count) that are successfully using CBD, and there are now easy to understand dosing suggestions. There are two main questions involved here:
Starting dose
Here is a very good rule of thumb to follow when first trying CBD oil: Take 0.5mg per pound of body weight per day, divided into two or three doses. This may sound complicated, but let’s look at some examples to simplify it:
I weigh 180lbs; my daily dose would be approximately 90mg, so I would take 30mg three times a day. This coincides with about 1 dropperful of the 1,000mg tincture.
If you weigh 125lbs, your daily dose is approximately 60mg (it’s ok to be approximate), so you would take 20mg three times a day (or 30mg twice a day).
Note: CBD is very safe, so don’t get caught up too much on the exact milligram dose. By safe, I mean that there is a very wide range of dosing amounts before you get any side-effects (see below). CBD is vastly safer than pharmaceuticals used for similar purposes, like sleeping meds, pain pills, and anti-inflammatories. Its fine to use 35mg caramels vs 30mg gummies vs 25mg candies. Or, you can easily take half a caramel or gummy if that suits your needs. It’s nice to be able to choose between 2 or 3 times per day dosing, so you can find an amount that works for you.
Increase as needed
If you are not quite getting the relief you are looking for, you can go ahead and double the dose (1mg/pound of body weight/day). Most of my patients find excellent relief at this higher dose. My 9th grader will occasionally take 50mg (once a day – at night) without any problem. She is prone to anxiety from time to time, which interferes with her sleep. She tried 30mg first, but it didn’t seem to help, so I happily bumped her dose to 50mg without any safety concerns.
Children
Many moms are asking me about using it on their kids, which probably warrants a whole separate blog entry, but here’s my brief opinion: For teens, I’m comfortable recommending it at the same doses as above. For younger children, the discussion often involves some significant behavior problems that go along with autism, other developmental issues, or possibly a seizure disorder, and it’s probably best to get your doctor’s blessing to add CBD to the mix (can still use the same dosing calculations above). Interestingly, many of the safety and efficacy studies on CBD have been on children with seizure disorders, and it has been shown to be safe. It is especially important to use a product that is pure and does not contain THC.
What’s the max amount I can take?
To answer this question, I needed to look at several studies that addressed the effectiveness of CBD vs any potential side effects. Of the 15 studies I considered, the consensus was that at doses up to 300mg per day, no side effects were reported. Even higher doses were studied (600, 800, 1,000mg per day) and those were “well tolerated” with only mild side effects (stomach upset, diarrhea, sleepiness). The vast majority of my patients don’t need to go above 1mg/pound/day, but it’s nice to know that I could recommend a higher dose if needed.

As if overnight, CBD pens are suddenly everywhere. It seems like everyone's using them and they're available seemingly everywhere. But what can CBD oil products do, and how can they be used to promote personal and family wellness?
CBD pens have become a huge fad for a number of reasons. CBD oil products like pens can boost wellness, treat anxiety disorders, and even help with managing inflammation and pain management. Some people use these pens as a sleep aid. Some evidence suggests that CBD pens can be used to heal the entire family. In a 2017 survey, 29 percent of respondents said that the medical relief they received was their favorite aspect of using CBD oil products.
CBD oil products are available in a wide variety of applications, not just CBD pens. You can also get CBD oil in hard candies. CBD oil is naturally present in cannabinoids. It actually makes up about 40 percent of the cannabis plant. CBD oil drops are derived directly from cannabis and used in CBD oil edibles, CBD disposable vape pens, and other products. CBD oil has become so popular and so widespread, and products made with the oil are only going to increase. Experts believe that by 2020, CBD sales will total around $1.15 billion. That's a huge number, and it proves that CBD pens and other CBD oil products are definitely big business.
Many people use CBD oil not just for pain management, but also as a sleep aid. Cannabis is relaxing, which is why it's so effective at treating anxiety disorders, and this relaxed feeling can lead to a better night's sleep. After all, do you sleep better when you go to bed relaxed or when you go to bed feeling nervous? In some places, it's possible to purchase CBD products online to get relief.
Getting healthy sleep is a good way to boost wellness. It's better for you and it's better for everyone around you if you're feeling well-rested. You'll have more energy, you'll think more clearly, and you will feel better overall. sleeping poorly can have all sorts of negative health benefits. Chronic poor sleep can be just as damaging to the body as heart disease. It can also make you irritable, cause you to lose focus, and even put you in danger. If you aren't sleeping enough regularly, your reflexes will be slowed and your judgment will be impaired. This can lead to potentially fatal bad decisions.
Receiving regular, healthy sleep can be its own form of pain management. When you're able to sleep well and regularly, your body will be able to heal itself more effectively. Try using CBD pens regularly before bedtime, and see if the overall quality of your sleep improves.
CBD pens have many other benefits outside of the obvious pain management and anxiety relief. Cannabinoids can increase appetite. That makes CBD pens and related products very effective for cancer patients and other people with chronic illnesses who may have trouble eating. There may even be some post workout benefits to CBD pens and cannabinoids. Hard candies made with CBD satisfy sweet tooth cravings, and CBD oil edibles make it easy to enjoy the benefits of cannabis without taking it into your lungs. There are multiple ways to ingest CBD oil drops and cannabis. Start with CBD pens, and see what other ways you may wish to try cannabinoids to boost wellness, help you with pain management, and assist you with relaxation.

CBD oil edibles are very popular. They are an easy way to consume powerful, healing CBD oil. CBD is a natural compound that does not have psychoactive principles present. The oil is extracted from the non-psychoactive hemp plant.
The oil is then used to craft edible products like hard candies, CBD candy for sale, gummies, and more. It is a convenient form of CBD oil that is discreet and fun to use. It is a great option for anyone that wants the benefits of this oil but does not like the taste of the oil.

]]>There is a difference between getting a clean bill of health and wellness. You can boost wellness with CBD products naturally. Wellness is more than good health. It is feeling good. It is getting enough rest, eating well, and enjoying emotional wellness.
Many people report that CBD products are helping to boost wellness and improve their quality of life. There is a lot of evidence to support the idea that we all could be enjoying more overall wellness with CBD products.
A lot of people visit the doctor and get a clean bill of health, but they do not feel well. The doctor cannot find anything wrong, yet the patient feels like something is just not right. Being healthy and being well are two different things. When you are healthy it means there is an absence of verifiable illness. When you are well it means that life is in balance. You are emotionally well and physically well.
CBD products help to close the gap between good health and feeling well. You can be in a healthy state and still struggle to get a good night's sleep. You can be in a healthy state and struggle with anxiety disorders.
CBD has helped a lot of people to get the rest they need, reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. It can also be used for:
Pain is largely due to inflammation. CBD is a natural anti-inflammatory that can help to control pain. Whether you choice CBD oil drops or CBD edibles you get the same great pain relief without the side effects that can be found in other pain relievers.
Athletes know that CBD is a powerful post-recovery workout elixir. It can help you recover faster and get back in the game faster. Again, the beauty of CBD is that there are no unwanted negative side effects.
Feeling well and ready to face the day starts with getting enough rest. CBD can help you get the rest you need without the threat of addiction or side effects. If you want to boost wellness consider making CBD part of your daily routine.
]]>Despite the changing trends in the use of CBD oils and other related products, the government and other regulatory authorities are regulating how cannabis is used. CBD disposable vape pens provide one of the commonly used mediums for vaping oil, tobacco, dry herb, and wax. It works like a cigarette, but there is no combustion. CBD disposable vape pens heat CBD oil drops to release moisture for vaping.
There have been contentious debates on whether CBD disposable vape pens are beneficial or whether individuals should combust cannabis in a traditional approach. However, trends show that vaporizing is a healthier alternative to smoking.
So, here are some of the reasons you should vaporize cannabis using CBD disposable vape pens.
Traditionally, marijuana, which is the primary product in CBD oil, is extracted through smoking. This means that another particulate matter is combusted and the mixed smoke enters the lungs causing respiratory problems. However, CBD pens eliminate the chances of experiencing respiratory inflammation as no particulate matter goes into the lungs. Only the CBD oil edibles are extracted making pens the most health sensitive strategy to the use of marijuana.
Vape pens are easy to use, and they come with varieties in the form of color, discrete designs, and appearance. All you need to do is to add oil into the heating element and allow it to vaporize. New designs are brought into the market daily, which gives you a wide variety of vape pens to choose from. You will feel more comfortable holding a CBD disposable vape pens as compared to when you are holding the traditional cigar.
Odor is an issue of concern every time an individual is smoking. With CBD oil having one of the strongest odors out there, it is important to minimize or eliminate odor between puffs. Such a step is good for the environment and also plays a vital role in eliminating passive CBD oil users. CBD disposable vape pens have been made in such a way that there is much less odor. Depending on the brand that you choose, you will come across some pens that have zero odors from the exhaled vapor.
Vape pens have proven to be one of the most versatile vaporizing mediums in the industry. You can carry them everywhere you go without any problems. Besides, you can easily use them indoors or outdoors without upsetting anyone about the smoke. Additionally, you don’t have to be concerned about the odor of the vapor in your vehicle, because there is none.
There is no doubt that we’re talking about disposable vape pens. However, you can be sure that they will offer the best services before you dispose of them. The key lies in the potency of the weed you will be using. The first puff will be as strong and concentrated as the last one. There is a perception that vape pens lower the quality and potency of tincture used, but there is no enough information to support that.
The cost of vape pens is something that should attract traditional smokers. Vaping pens are easily available through online platforms and licensed cannabis or CBD stores around the corner. The fact that they are disposable has significantly lowered the cost such that you can buy them without experiencing significant financial difficulties.
The benefits of CBD oil have been documented for everyone to see. Many people are currently using CBD oil products and marijuana for pain management and other medical purposes. However, the use of CBD disposable vape pens for vaporizing purposes remains the best medium for using cannabis.
]]>The confusion about the difference between CBD candy for sale and THC edibles is understandable. Both chemicals stem from the Cannabis plant but each product comes from a different species of the Cannabis plant. THC is found in Marijuana while CBD is primarily found in Hemp. Both the plants look similar, which only adds to the confusion.
CBD is non-psychoactive. What does that mean? It means that you get all the anti-inflammatory benefits without any of the high that you get with THC. CBD oil products are perfectly safe for the whole family, including the pets.
Hard candies that have been infused with CBD oil can improve overall family wellness. While the majority of the studies have included anecdotal information, CBD oil has shown promise in treating a wide range of ailments including:

]]>Advancements in technology and the ability to test products has opened a whole new world for medical treatment and testing in the CBD market. In 2017, $124 million dollars of medical CBD was purchased. By now you've at least heard about CBD and its potential, but there is still a lot of mystery surrounding CBD and how it differs from other medical options and THC (the active psychotropic chemical in marijuana). Here is a brief overview and some information if you're considering CBD products.
CBD, or cannabidiol, is a cannabinoid that comes from cannabis plants. Unlike THC, however, CBD isn't a psychoactive chemical and does not produce a "high" like marijuana products with THC. There are many ways CBD is currently being used and many ways to ingest it, including CBD oil products, CBD pens, CBD as a sleep aid, CBD for sports recovery (or for general pain management) and it also comes in hard candies form, as well as other types of edibles.
CBD tincture is essentially a product that has been through a distillation process, concentrating the cannabinoid molecules into a liquid that can be ingested, which is beneficial as it does not require smoking.
There are several types of tincture and varying strengths, generally for a CBD tincture, 1000mg is the most potent strength available. Other oils and products are sometimes added to improve the taste of the tincture and the overall experience.
While CBD products are just now entering a phase of regulation and increased research, there are a lot of potential health benefits associated with using CBD products. CBD oils and tinctures can be used to boost overall mood, decrease anxiety and help manage pain, especially after an injury.
While no specific medical claim should be made without further research, the popularity and increasing use of CBD says a lot for how people perceive its uses as medicine. For some using a CBD tincture 1000mg would theoretically be a potent sleep aid and pain reliever.
CBD products are increasing in popularity, and provide relief to people who prefer not to have the psychoactive effects of THC. With new doors opening for research, refinement and regulation, CBD will continue to be a highly sought-out remedy.

]]>Currently, there is still a significant stigma in people's minds when it comes to cannabis. Cannabis conjures up images of teens and irresponsible adults getting high, promoting free love, and being unproductive members of society. Well, the thing is, that simply isn't the case.
While it is true that a part of the cannabis plant can get you high (THC), there is also CBD, which hosts many medical benefits, and comes without the drug inducing "high." In fact, according to most research, 80% of people said that CBD products were very effective in helping with their ailments.
When it comes to CBD, there are many types of products. CBD oil drops, CBD pens, hard candies, and even sleep aids. Here are some of the incredible potential health benefits of CBD oil. While some are extensively researched and others are still being researched, we will try to help differentiate the two so you can understand which ones are currently backed by science and which ones are still being researched.
Slow or Stop Cancer Cells (still being researched): While this is still being researched, there is a strong correlation between the stop of cancer and cannabis. the Journal of Molecular Cancer Therapeutics published a study that showed Cannabidiol had the ability to stop cancer by affecting a gene called Id-1. Additionally, the American Association for Cancer Research has done studies and found that cannabis works to slow down tumor growth in the brain, breast, and lungs. Though these are promising studies, more research needs to be done.
Preventive Care for Alzheimer's (very loose correlation): There is some evidence that THC (the part that gets you high) slows the progression of Alzheimer's. Though this does come with drawbacks as using marijuana to get high has been shown to inhibit cognitive function as well. Significant research is still needed in this area, though it does offer some exciting potential as Alzheimer's is currently incurable.
Arthritis Relief (good evidence): There is good evidence that cannabinoid based pain relieving medicine can help relieve the pain of arthritis. Many researchers in hospitals throughout the country gave patients a cannabis based treatment that was supposed to relieve pain. After two weeks, patients showed a significant reduction in pain and better sleep quality when compared to the placebo group.
Control Epileptic Seizures (good evidence, still being researched): There is good evidence that the THC component in marijuana can help control epileptic seizures. At Virginia Commonwealth University, a marijuana extract was given to epileptic rats. The treatment completely stopped seizures in only 10 hours. The studies found that the THC controlled the seizures by binding to the brain cells that were responsible for over exciting and causing the seizure in the first place. These results have been published in the Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics.
Protect The Brain from Stroke and Concussive Injury (still being researched): This is another exciting area of research for cannabis. Just like with Alzheimer's, there has been research done by the University of Nottingham that shows how CBD can help protect the brain from damage caused by strokes or concussive injury by reducing the size of the area affected by the stroke. This is a promising area of research, especially for competitive athletes who are at frequent risk of concussive injury.
Control or Reduce Muscle Spasms (small evidence):
There is significant evidence that shows how CBD can be used to help control and reduce muscle spasms. Doctor Gupta found that one of his patients who was experiencing myoclonus diaphragmatic flutters (a spasming in the abdominal muscle that causes pain, difficulty breathing, and difficulty speaking), responded well when using medical marijuana. While it is very well documented that marijuana relaxes the body and muscles, there have not been enough significant studies that show in what medical situations this can be used.
Help with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (good evidence): The University of Nottingham did a study in 2010 that should how cannabidiol components interact with cells in the body that help improve gut function and boost the immune system. The study showed that intestines with increased permeability, had a reduction in permeability when exposed to cannabis, making it more difficult for harmful bacteria to enter the gut and intestines.
]]>One of the most important aspects to highlight is that tincture has been overlooked for a longer period. It continues to denote one of the most overlooked methods of administering herbal products. A considerable number of people around the world are not familiar with potent tinctures like the way they are familiar with capsules and teas. However, potent tincture remains one of the best methods of administering herbal medicines, especially for people managing acute conditions.

One of the major mental disorders that are affecting a considerable number of people around the world is anxiety. It is characterized by the fear of current and future events and may cause an individual to experience negative physical challenges such as shakiness and fast heart rate. Cannabinoids have for an extended period been used to treat anxiety disorders. They have significant impacts on how the brain functions, which makes it suitable for other mental challenges as well.
Sleeplessness is a major sleeping disorder. People who have insomnia find it hard to sleep or fail to get the desired hours of sleep. Many people have confessed to having overdosed on CBD oil products, and there were no side effects.
]]>About $124 million was spent on medical CBD in 2017, and that number will likely go up as more people discover its benefits.
For an athlete interested in how CBD might be useful, the possibilities for CBD’s impact is exciting. CBD is not to be confused with marijuana, as high-quality CBD should only contain 3% of marijuana’s psychoactive ingredient, THC.
From anti-inflammatory effects to buying CBD products online, this guide will walk you through the many potential benefits for athletes using CBD.
Did you know that cannabinoids already exist in your body? They’re your body’s natural pain-reliever, and they get released in response to strain and tension on your body. However, just as athletes place far more strain on their bodies than normal people, so they may also need more cannabinoids than they can get naturally.
Taking CBD increases the number of cannabinoids available to your body. The famous runner’s high is partly due to anandamide, a fatty acids neurotransmitter, which CBD directly increases.
The pain-relieving results of CBD are largely anecdotal because of a shortage of research. Nonetheless, taking CBD appears to relieve pain for many athletes.
NSAIDS like ibuprofen and naproxen are beginning to come under fire for their toxic nature, and the potentially deadly effects of taking them frequently for long periods of time. In fact, it’s been calculated that NSAIDS would be the 15th leading cause of death in America, if they were calculated separately in the National Vital Statistics Reports.
While not as effective for numbing extreme pain like opioids can be, CBD has been used by athletes as a supplement to, or even a replacement for, conventional painkillers—allowing them to diminish or eliminate their use of NSAIDs altogether.
A controlled amount of inflammation is healthy for athletes, as it enables their bodies to adapt to more advanced training. However, too much inflammation can hinder recovery and lower sports performance.
CBD has been suggested to reduce inflammation, including inflammation of the small and large intestine (which has caused runners to drop out of races at times).
Taking CBD seems to improve both one’s ease of falling asleep, and the restful quality of one’s sleep throughout the night. Better sleep directly helps the athlete make greater gains during their training and performance.
CBD has also been known to have significant anti-anxiety effects, even for those with severe anxiety disorders. This also aids in improving sleep.
Taking CBD has also been found to increase appetite. This is another plus for the athlete, who often must consume large amounts of the right foods to significantly improve their performance.
Putting intense strain on your body can cause uncomfortable muscle spasms. CBD seems to help diminish these effects.
CBD seems to help prevent concussions from occurring. CBD disrupts the flow of chemicals that kill brain cells during the event of a blow to the head, behaving like a neuroprotectant and preventing a concussion from taking effect.
During intense training, CBD acts as an effective antiemetic by helping to prevent nausea.
In addition to its many benefits, high-quality CBD can easily be purchased from reputable distributors on the internet, making CBD accessible and convenient. From tinctures to hard candies, getting CBD products online is surprisingly easy, and features a wide range of options.
Make sure you’re getting CBD with no more than .3% THC (the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana) when you buy CBD products online. Taking CBD with more than .3% of THC could get you disqualified from competitions for consuming marijuana.
Research into the effects of CBD is only beginning, and it already looks incredibly promising for athletes. With this guide, you’re now better prepared to explore the possibilities of what CBD can do for you.
]]>CBD has a variety of uses and is becoming more popular in today's society. And while CBD makes up about 40% of the cannabis plant, it is not the part of the plant that produces a "high" effect. Rather, it is used for medicinal purposes and to instill a sense of calm. One common use for CBD oil drops and other products is as a sleep aid. But how exactly can CBD help you sleep? Let's take a look at few benefits of using this product as a sleep aid.
First off, let's talk about why people have trouble sleeping. There may be several reasons people have trouble sleeping: stress, anxiety, chronic pain, and other conditions can all result in insomnia. And guess what? CBD can help with all of these problems.
While there are prescription medications that can also help with insomnia, CBD works naturally with our bodies. CBD interacts with our Endocannabinoid System (ECS) -- which is a network of receptors throughout the human body. Many of the ECS receptors are located in the brain, which is responsible for receiving stress and pain signals. And when someone has a chronic pain condition or struggles with anxiety, these receptors may be overloaded. This is where CBD comes in -- the chemicals in CBD interact with the receptors to help the brain manage stress and pain signals better. So overall, CBD interacts with the ECS to help with pain management, calm those with anxiety disorders, and can even help manage inflammation.
And the great thing about using CBD as a sleep aid is that it doesn't actually make you sleepy. Unlike some prescription medications that are designed to essentially sedate you, CBD simply helps you relax, feel less pain, and can result in a good night's sleep.
So people who experience sleep troubles or insomnia as a result of stress or pain could significantly benefit from trying CBD products. These products can be inhaled, eaten, or even ingested through drops. CBD is a convenient and natural alternative to other medications.
While CBD won't make you sleepy or knock you out cold, it can help you relax. So if you are looking for an easy way to get a good night's sleep, consider trying CBD.
]]>Given the compound’s multitude of well-established benefits, many consumers now face the question of which delivery method suits them best. This guide will help you determine which delivery method is the best fit for your needs.

]]>CBD products are becoming more and more popular, particularly among those seeking its medical benefits. In fact, a 2017 survey found that 29% of respondents said the medical relief CBD offered was their favorite aspect of using these products. And while CBD is great for many medical ailments and conditions, including chronic pain, sleep troubles, anxiety disorders, and muscle spasms, one increasingly common use is for sports recovery. So let's explore a few important things athletes should know about CBD's post-workout benefits.
Any type of workout causes microscopic damage to your tissue and muscles, which allows your body to heal itself and grow stronger. The inflammation that is caused by working out can be beneficial but sometimes can do more harm than good. If a workout is too much for the body to handle, injuries like sprains and strains can happen.
Fortunately, CBD is great for managing inflammation. There are plenty of anti-inflammatory methods, like eating certain foods or icing sore body parts, but CBD works quickly and effectively.
Athletes can drastically decrease their downtime -- whether it's from a minor injury or simply sore muscles from a tough workout, CBD can help. With the right products, athletes can begin to feel relief in painful areas in no time. This can help them not only heal their damages muscles and tissues, but continue exercising as needed.
CBD products, like a CBD oil syringe or other CBD oil edibles, can be used either post-workout or as a pre-workout. When CBD products are used before a workout, it's believed that they can help reduce elevated cortisol, allowing the body to adapt to the stress it undergoes during a workout. This can result in athletes being able to push through a difficult workout more easily.
CBD may help athletes by:
With all of these great benefits, there's no reason athletes shouldn't consider using CBD oil syringes and other products to aid them with their workouts. Unlike smoking marijuana, CBD has no "high" effect, allowing athletes to complete their workouts as normal. It's a natural product that can work with the body's endocannabinoid system to help people feel their best.
So if you're an athlete looking for an easy, natural way to help your body feel better both before and after a workout, consider using CBD products.
]]>Anxiety: While the THC in cannabis has been known to intensify feelings of anxiety and paranoia, CBD can drastically decrease them. CBD oil products can provide feelings of relaxation and release. This is why people with anxiety disorders can potentially benefit from using CBD. And best of all, CBD oils and hard candies don't have side effects like some medications do.
Depression: Similarly to anxiety, CBD products can help bring a sense of calmness to those suffering depression. CBD can help ease physical pain associated with depression and can help trigger the release of serotonin. This chemical is key to feeling "happy", which is essential to battling depression.
Arthritis: CBD products have been known to have anti-inflammatory properties, which can help immensely with arthritis. Using CBD products like creams and applying it directly to the affected areas can help manage inflammation and pain without negative side effects like some arthritis medications may have.
Chronic pain conditions: Chronic pain conditions, like trigeminal neuralgia, arthritis, and even neuropathic pain conditions can all benefit from CBD oil products. CBD can help relax muscles, decrease inflammation, and even help patients sleep better, allowing their body to rest and heal.
Multiple Sclerosis: MS is a very difficult condition to live with because this autoimmune disease affects the entire body. Fortunately, CBD may be able to help manage the muscle spasms those with MS deal with on a daily basis. CBD oil could help reduce the levels of spasticity someone with MS feels, allowing them to feel a mild reduction in their pain and discomfort.
CBD has many uses and can be extremely helpful in managing medical conditions like the ones discussed in this article. So if you have a condition that impacts your daily life, consider giving CBD a try.
